Yet still, somehow, meaningful.

I arrived in Cagayan de Oro last night, safe and sound. Thank goodness 😅
That journey getting here was something else.
The road was winding, twisting, the kind that really tests your motion sickness.
I actually reached a point where my body reacted. Nausea and all. It wasn’t comfortable at all.
While I was breathing through it, I realised something.
Sometimes life puts us on a path that we didn’t exactly choose.
Yesterday, most of the domestic flights were cancelled because of the storm, so I had no option but to take the bus.
That road was the only way forward. No shortcuts. No easy route.
It reminded me how life can feel the same.
❌ Messy.
❌ Uncomfortable.
❌ A bit overwhelming.
Yet still, somehow, meaningful.
When we choose to focus on why we are on that journey, not just how uncomfortable it feels, we begin to understand that the path is shaping us.
So yes, motion sickness was real. My discomfort was real. Yet, so was the clarity that came from it.
This morning, I am already heading to Manila and soon after to Bangkok, Thailand. 🇹🇭
Another chapter, another road, another lesson waiting.
Follow along for more travel moments and the reflections that come with them.
