🐢 🌊 To the SEA, to the SEA 🐢 🌊

As a therapist and energy healer, I've been privileged to journey alongside my clients as they navigate the depths of their inner worlds. Each session is a voyage of discovery, where we delve into the recesses of their souls, seeking clarity and healing.

I often think of the turtle from "The Smallest Turtle" by Lynley Dodd and the poignant refrain: "To the sea, to the sea." It speaks to the innate longing within us all, the deep yearning to answer our true calling, to venture into the vast expanse of possibility.

Many clients come to me feeling stuck, lost in the ebb and flow of life's currents. They're like turtles on the shore, hearing the distant call of the ocean but unsure of how to navigate the waves. In our time together, I guide them gently, helping them tune into the whispers of their own hearts.

As we explore their inner landscape, something magical happens. They begin to recognize the voice of their true selves, calling them forward with a sense of purpose and direction. The profound void they once felt transforms into a boundless sea of potential, shimmering with promise and possibility.

It's a beautiful thing to witness—the moment they realize they were never genuinely stuck but merely waiting for the courage to set sail on their own journey. Like the turtle, they find the strength within themselves to heed the call of the sea to embrace the unknown with grace and courage.

In these moments, I am reminded of the sacredness of my work and the privilege of accompanying others on their path to self-discovery. Together, we navigate the waters of transformation, buoyed by the currents of healing and growth.

So, to all those who feel the ocean tug in their souls, I say this: Listen closely to the whispers of your heart, for they are guiding you home—to the sea, to the sea of endless possibilities. And if ever you find yourself adrift, know that there are guides and companions like myself, ready to help you navigate the waters and set sail toward your true calling.

The words of "The Smallest Turtle" by Lynley Dodd hold a special significance for me. It takes me back almost 20 years ago, to the early days of my career when I first encountered this enchanting book. I remember reading it to the preschool children at the centre where I began my bridging coursework placement in Australia.
