This morning in Pahalgam

This morning in Pahalgam, sitting with a simple breakfast of sambar and idli, I felt something deeper than taste or flavor.

In the air around me, in the collective atmosphere, there was a vibration of greed — and I sensed it right in my sacral.

Not as my own craving, but as an energy moving through the space, through people.

And it made me pause.

Greed is not really about money or possessions.

It’s spiritual hunger mistaken for material hunger.

A misdirected longing for union with the Divine, channeled into accumulation.

When the soul reconnects with Source — in prayer, in meditation, in nature, in service, in love — the hunger dissolves.

The heart feels full, and the sacral quiets.

My heart is full - my breakfast turned into reflection. A reminder that sometimes what we feel isn’t ours alone, but the collective energy of humanity asking to be seen. ✨

May the nourishment from this morning’s meal become a bridge for those longing for union with the Divine.

What about you?

Have you ever picked up on an energy around you and realized it was teaching you something about the soul?
