As the sun rose over the desert this morning, I sat in the stillness of this holy place and felt a gentle question stir in my heart:
Do we meet others with judgment, or with empathy?
Here, where the Burning Bush once spoke of divine presence, I’m reminded that empathy opens doors judgment will always close.
One softens, the other hardens.
One sees the soul, the other only the shadow.
So today, I invite you to pause with me in this silence —
to notice where judgment shows up in your heart,
and to gently ask:
“What would empathy see here instead?”
🌿 Blessings carried on the desert wind of Sinai
