A Woman’s Prayer for Peace

As a woman, I come before you, my source, my God, Love, the Universe, with a heart that cradles the world in its tender embrace, longing for a future where peace flows like the waters of the Dead Sea. With humility and love, I connect my spirit to this sacred place, a symbol of serenity amidst salinity.

In this tranquil moment, I lift my voice in prayer, asking you to weave a tapestry of peace into the waters that traverse our precious Earth. Just as the Dead Sea, in all its uniqueness, remains serene, may the tumultuous currents of the world’s oceans, rivers, and lakes find solace.

May the waves of conflict and division be stilled by the gentle caress of empathy and understanding.

May the waters of injustice and inequality transform into the rivers of unity and compassion.

Grant us wisdom to cultivate the rich soil of love, like the mineral-rich much of the Dead Sea, nurturing tolerance and respect in our hearts.

Let the minerals of sisterhood and solidarity permeate the rivers of our collective consciousness.
