Natural beauty

Today, I was awakened by the unfamiliar sound of a bird just outside my window. Its persistent calling made me open the curtains to see its beauty.
Oh wow! There were three owls sitting on one branch.
Captivated by their elegance, I pulled the bedside chair and gazed at this natural beauty.
Yes, I am in Los Angeles, yet I have a magical experience where the only sound you’ll hear is the sounds of nature—no noise pollution at all!
Seeing those three owls brought me back to a distant memory about Sarah, Percy, and Bill—yes! The Owl Babies book by Martin Waddell , this was one of my preschool students’ favourites, and it's my daughter’s, too.
I remember how such a simple story helped those new children settle at school. It teaches children so much about separation, fear, anxiety, patience, and reattachment, to name a few.
And there’s more …
Those owls brought me back to my recent discussion with this young client in Boston. He asked, “Nowena, what do you really do? Why do you have such an expanse of knowledge? How come you know things?”
I guess I am a night owl myself hehehehe
But really. Do you know that owl is a symbol of intuition and insight? It’s a symbol of the feminine, the moon – clairvoyance.
Awakened by the sounds of these mystical creatures inspired me to reflect on the more profound nature of my practice.
Clairvoyance, the ability to “see” spiritually, is a divine gift we were born with. It mostly involves the ability to see into the future, to see spiritual beings, or even to see the truth of a situation before it is revealed.
Clairvoyance is not what we do. It’s what we are. Again, we are all born with it.
Our third eye is open from birth, but as we become normalised, the ego mutes this gift of vision. Yet, it never fully closes.
I invite you to reawaken your spiritual ability to “see” and witness the world through your original self - from the eyes of the source.
By quieting the ego and embracing spiritual practices like meditation, prayer, and mindfulness, you can strengthen your third eye and connect with the source of all knowledge.
Because, just like those 3 owls, you are a mythical creature too.
Happy Friday, everyone!
