Our family stands on trust in God.
When I reflect on the story of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, I don’t just see a holy image — I see a family that kept choosing to listen.
👂🏼 They moved when God nudged them.
👂🏼 They stayed when He said, now is the time.
🤝 Their safety wasn’t in a place… it was in God.
Last night, while talking with my uncle and my big brother, something settled deep in my heart:
Family is a covenant. 🏠

Not just something we belong to, but a promise we keep — to walk together, to forgive, to grow, even when the road gets rough.
In today’s world, families carry so much.
The pull to chase security, success, and comfort can quietly steal our presence from one another.
So many, especially in our Filipino families, leave home out of love — hoping to give more — yet paying the price of distance and longing.
It’s never simple. It’s never painless. But it is born from love. ❤️
Still, I believe our homes are sacred.
They are little churches where patience is practiced, where love is tested, and where God chooses to dwell in ordinary days.
As we step into 2026, and as Catholics across the world witness the closing of the Holy Door, I feel this gentle invitation:
👍 Carry what we’ve received back into our homes.
👍 Let mercy live at our tables.
👍 Let forgiveness have a voice in our conversations.
👍 Let grace be our guide.
May our families become places of respect and tenderness, even when money is tight and hearts feel tired.
May hope stay alive — like a small light that refuses to go out, no matter how dark the room feels.
Today, I place my family, and yours, into God’s hands.
🪢 May the Holy Spirit lead us.
🪢 May Jesus teach us how to love.
🪢 May Mary show us how to trust.
🪢 May Joseph remind us to be brave and faithful.
And may our families keep walking forward together,
rooted in faith,
held by love,
and strengthened by trust in God —
the true heart of every family covenant.
God bless our families. 🙏
